Great Headshot Photo Shoot

The lovely Jenny DeVaughn and Teela Jackson allowed me to be their headshot photographer tonight, and despite my initial nerves, it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic experience!

We met at Dantanna’s restaurant near Lenox Mall, where Teela knew several employees. At first, the hostess was not so keen on our snapping photos around their restaurant, but the manager (giving in to Jenny’s confidence and charm) quickly gave us the official “OK.”

After a quick glass of wine to settle our anxieties, I started popping the strobe against every semi-interesting background in the place. Fortunately, Jenny has a great eye for backdrops, so we had quite a few choices.

Three costume changes, two locations, a few powdered noses, several cases of the giggles and many snaps of the camera later, we parted ways. My darling subjects were even kind enough to pass along a few prospects for future head shot bookings.

I cannot express how much I appreciate the kindness, flexibility and understanding of these two women. It was a marvelous experience and completely turned my day around.
