I attended my first “Tweet Up” (a networking event organized via Twitter) last night at Pizzeria Venti with my Radiant Veracity internship supervisor, Stephanie A. Lloyd.

It was my duty to pick up name tags for the event, so I didn’t arrive as early as I might have liked–little did I know I would be on camera for an interview within moments of walking in the door!

I hurriedly met my fellow Radiant Veracity intern Paul Eulette, scribbled out a pitch and… ROLLING!

That being said, I think it somehow loosened me up and prepared me for introductions to all the impressive business professionals in attendance.

Soon after, my great friend Stephanie Perrett arrived, and we circled the room to meet as many people as possible.

Though slightly nervous at first, I quickly fell in to conversation with like-minded professionals and made quite a few quality contacts.

(I think I may have even lined up some freelance photography work… score!)
