Graduating in to a tough job market has awarded certain advantages. I keep busy with all manner of freelance work, and I have the luxury of being able to take advantage of any other exciting opportunity that comes along.

BIO:

Through an eclectic range of professional experience, I have accrued a diverse skill set to support my passion: communication. My journalism training within the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication has provided me with excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.

Former positions as well as recent intern, volunteer and freelance opportunities have led me to better appreciate the many different sectors in which a strong knowledge of communications may be innovatively and successfully applied.

I have experience in marketing, public relations, event planning, media relations, graphic & layout design, photography, new/social media and market research. Additionally, I have obtained substantial experience with entrepreneurial organizations and non-profit entities.

While still in the early stages of my career, I hope to explore the opportunities available in the constantly expanding field of communications to determine where my strengths and passions can best be utilized.

My goal, however, is apparent; I seek to develop an acute understanding of all forms of human communication in order that I may effectively convey that which serves to inform, interrelate and inspire.
